Class Guidelines
Romans 2:21  -  "Thou therefore which teachest another; teachest thou not thyself?"
The information provided below is for teachers who want to use  this format in their class.  Change it to suit you or create your own rules if you  choose.
There must be mutual respect between the teacher and the student in order to get the most out of what is presented in this class. Because of this we should adhere to some simple and useful guidelines.
1. Please refrain from speaking out about anything in this class without raising your hand. It is very disruptive and disrespectful to the teacher and the rest of the class. You will be acknowledged as quickly as possible because everyone’s input is valuable and gives us insight we don’t all possess.  Do unto others as you would that they do unto you.

2. This class will not be run like a Bible study because we are not going to be bound by how much we cover but rather by the quality of what is taught and learned here. If necessary we will labor on a point or some points that will not allow us to cover everything on the slide currently showing. As we go along it may also happen that we will pause teaching to spend time before the Lord as the Holy Spirit leads us. Remember that a very crucial part of this class is that we learn to, not only communicate our thoughts and prayers to God, but to learn to wait in his presence and allow him to speak to us. This discipline in the life of a disciple is the most difficult in our generation of instant everything! Isaiah 40:31- “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…….”

3. Initially we will not be setting a time of duration for this class, but will work within the bounds of everyone’s schedule so that if someone needs to go they can be free to leave while the class will continue. It is our intention to record these classes so that anyone who has to leave early and still wants to get the content as well as the spirit of the class can listen to it later and be blessed. This will also keep continuity because everyone will be kept up to snuff, and we should not have to go back over what was already covered. At this time I am not sure what format we will use for this.

4. Above all things this class should observe is that our thoughts, words and actions honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we please him in those things everything will benefit the most people in the greatest way, and we will achieve our objective of being the disciples God approves.
A suggestion for teachers:  If at all possible, get someone who is familiar with creating and downloading videos to facebook to record your classes with a quality camera.  If you do this people who cannot be at class on certain nights will be able to access the preceding week class and catch up on anything they may have missed.  People who must leave the class during a session for good reason could also go online and catch up.  In this way no person will have to miss any of the class, and everyone will be in lock step with everyone else.  This course was purposely set up to work best with the King James Version of the Bible.
It is highly recommended that everyone attending the class bring a KJV Bible since all verses quoted are from the KJV and also to keep continuity of thought and discussion.
Free or low cost resources for the teacher and the student will be offered throughout this course.
