Discipleship Is Not For Dummies
Welcome to the Course

I am rejoicing that you have decided to take this couse on discipleship.  The entire purpose for writing and offering this course is that every student may receive information that increases their understanding of God, Man, Sin, Salvation, and Loving and Serving the Lord Jesus Christ as he deserves!  It is the desire of the author of this course that we all learn to live in such a way that our thoughts, words and actions will reflect on our Lord and Savior in a way that will bring honor, glory and praise to him and him alone!  Those who share my heart in this desire will be pleased with what is presented here, and will be richly blessed indeed!

What is a Disciple?

A disciple is someone who subscribes to the teachings of a master and assists in spreading those teachings everywhere he can as much as he can.  We have the Master of all masters, and his name is Jesus!  He tells us in John 14:6 that he is THE way, THE truth and THE life, and that no man can come unto the father without him.  Do we believe it?  Do we understand that the word "the" is exclusive and means that there is no other way?  Jesus is saying that all others who claim to be the way, and all religions that claim to have another way are false, and every teacher who claims that Jesus is not the only
way are false!  This is a bold claim, and none but the son of the one true and living God can make such a claim.  With this in mind we can begin to understand just why being a disciple
of Jesus Christ is so important!

What of the Other Ways?

There are many philosophies and religions in the world that claim to lead to God.  Millions of people follow the teachings of these religions because they have either never heard of Jesus and his claims or they have heard his claims
and reject them or perhaps Christians who
have presented Christ to them didn't have the necesary knowledge, experience or maturity to share what they believe
in a way that convinced them that Jesus is the only way to God.  This is why Christians need a course like this.  If we are to share the wonderful gospel message we must be ready to effectively present it to others.

Matthew 10:24   -   "The disciple is not above his Master, nor the servant above his Lord."
Do you have a desire to see the lost and dying around you come to Christ?  Do you feel as if you have inadequate knowledge to accomplish this vitally important task?  Have you tried and failed or tried and wished you would have been better prepared?  Do you love someone who is lost and without hope, and are you willing to do everything in your power to reach them including disciplined study if that will give you what you need to do what our Lord has called you to do? Then this course is for you!   Not only is it available to give you a place to start, but it will give you a place to return to as often as you like.  For the teacher who might feel the need for more information to present to his class this will prove a valuable resource that is readily available 24/7 and something that you can pass on to your students who can then dig into
the course and do additional
independent study on their own.
This course is being offered free of charge, however, if, after you have examined the course, you feel it is profitable for you in your Christian walk, please feel free to donate in the place provided to the left and your donation will be used to keep this site growing and functioning!
Thank you and God bless you as you seek to live for the Lord and
pour out your life in his service!

The donation for the course is only for the information created by the course developer, and does not include any other extras included for the benefit of the student or teacher.  The you tube videos, links to free things or other source material is offered throughout the course without any cost to the student whatsoever.  Books, Bibles or any other items offered through
this course are to be purchased solely at the discretion of the student or teacher.  The course developer will receive a small remuneration for any products purchased through his affiliate link with Christianbook, and also with the Webstarts site
building program but only if the student or teacher buys a site instead of using the free site offer.
Most of the people who use
the Webstarts site building program pay nothing for the service.
Therefore little, if any, monies are realized from promoting this service, and, in addition the course developer has to reach a certain amount to even receive any income through Webstarts which makes it even more difficult to receive compensation of any significance for his recommendation of their services.
