THE BATTLE IS NOW!
I FEEL AS IF I JUST WOKE UP FROM A LONG DREAM!
My heart has been heavy for a long time as I surveyed this world we live in and increasing wickedness abounded everywhere, but there was no standard arising to halt our human propensity to evil. The churches of our nation seemed to be fast asleep, the governments
of the world were waxing worse and worse, babies were being killed in their Mother's wombs and the governments of the world were endorsing it, deviant sex paraded itself through our streets worldwide like a flood spewing out waters that threatened to bring our land to ruin, evil religious trends were rising in every corner seemingly unchallenged by
those who called themselves Christian, Christians were falling into every conceivable lie
and becoming desensitized and deceived by psuedo-Christianity and the recurrence of
evil over and over again, self-mutilation, drug use, sexual promiscuity, satanic music, and
more were robbing children of their youth, and the not-so-subtle teaching of evolution
took over our schools as atheists and other non-believers seemed to have won the day!

But then I remembered...........WE ARE IN A WAR!
We must redirect our focus! We have been lulled to
sleep in the most insidious way, and have accepted
the lie that the enemy is President Obama, Nancy
Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, the Csars who are
appointed by the President, Chavez, Castro, radical
Islamists, False Religions, Distorted Teachings that
resemble truth but are far from it in our churches,
The United Nations and other corrupt government
agencies, Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and a list
that extends from one end of the world to the other!
Hear the Word of the Lord! Ephesians 6:12 - "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places." People are not our enemies! It is the power
the works in and through them that is the enemy, and our focus must be changed if we
are ever going to see evil vanquished! It is time to lift up a standard against Satan and
his demons and sound the battle cry! It is time to wake from our slumber and put on the
armor of God and prepare to do battle with spiritual entities! II Corinthians 10:3-5 makes
it clear that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty THROUGH GOD to the
pulling down of strongholds, and that we are to bring every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ. It's time to measure what we hear with God's Word and act on it!
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword...
This is not just some overworked cliche, but it is a
great weapon mentioned in Ephesians 6:17 that is to
be in our arsenal against the powers of darkness!
It is the lack of Bible study that has been one cause
of a million lesser evils among us and the reason so
many Christians are carnal and worldly when we
should be walking in power and authority and have
continual victory in our lives! We have disobeyed our
God who commanded us to be ready always to have
an answer to give to those who inquire about the
hope that lies within us. We have given a needy
world superficiality and they see our weakness and
multitudes mock and scorn the faith we claim to own!
Ephesians 6:18 The Most Powerful Weapon of All!
Restraining Prayer we cease to fight
Prayer makes the Christian's armor bright
And Satan trembles when he sees,
The weakest saint upon his knees!" -- Unknown
God has given us a weapon that the adversary can't
withstand! The problem with us is that our prayer is
shallow and carnal and mostly self-centered. We are
always crying out for more of what God can do for us
when our hearts cry should be about what we can do
for God and others. REAL PRAYER IS ALL OUT
WAR WITH SATAN! It is not the weak and insipid
thing prominent in the body of Christ in this generation.
Real prayer tears down strongholds and is the most
feared weapon the powers of darkness know, and is
the one thing they fight against with ardent passion! If
we begin to understand this kind of prayer all Hell will
literally break loose and the warfare will be intense as
the power of God invades the kingdom of darkness...
This kind of prayer is not for spiritual infants but is for
those who would war against the enemies of our God!
A Message For All of Us Who Call Ourselves Christian
Some time ago I was
privileged to listen to
a cassette recording
of a book that roused
me and frightened my
children while also
intriguing them to the
point of asking many
important questions
that I believe were
vital to their growth
as Christians. The
cassette was done
by Frank Peretti, a
Christian author and
was entitled "This
Present Darkness."
The story in Mr. Peretti's book begins in a small town that is rather ordinary by all
outward appearances. Life as usual was carried on by the inhabitants of the town,
but underneath something sinister was brewing and the people of the town were
totally unaware of what was going on. Only a few people knew what was actually
happening and they were in the service of the devil and under demonic control.
These people were very sure of themselves and were working to undermine any and
all resistance to their scheme to take over this town and establish it as a center from
which a powerful demon could come with his hoards of demons and wreck havoc on
the town and then expand their operations in every direction from there.
As it always is with Satan, he underestimates the power of God, and makes one
small slip that allows a man of God who is a man of prayer to become pastor of a
small church in that town. While most of the Christians are spiritually insensitive to
the threat surrounding them and preparing to engulf them, this man and his wife see
past the natural and into the spiritual realm and the pastor begins to pray powerfully.
In repsonse to the prayers of the pastor God sends angelic warriors into the town to
prepare for the coming hoard of demons and the powerful demon who rules them.
Through a series of events, forces on both sides of the issue move and interact while
the angelic warriors look on and help where they are allowed accoding to the will of
God given to them as marching orders when they were sent.
At last the day arrives when the ruling demon and his minions descend on the city
and make the mistake of minimizing the power of God's praying pastor and those
in his church who are prayer warriors as well. The result is obvious but worth our
consideration. Through prayer a hostile takeover is averted and life returns to normal.
The saints see the power of God at work and their prayers answered and are victorious.
THE TIME HAS COME - THE TOWN IS AMERICA - WE ARE UNDER SEIGE
It has become a tragedy of the greatest proportions that Christians have been blinded
to the reality of the powers of darkness or we have underestimated what Satan can do.
We have focused on Abortion, Homosexuality, Corruption in Government and more, but
our battle is not against flesh and blood but spiritual beings. Demonic activity has put us
on the defensive as people in high positions worldwide are used as puppets to force vile
agendas on us such as those named above and we insist on fighting against the people
instead of the powers behind the people. If we don't come together and begin to bind
these spirits that are seeking to come to America and rule over its people as Christians
then we are to blame if this nation falls to ruin under the current administration not in
Washington, D. C. but in the spiritual realm where Christ has given us authority to cast
down the real enemy of the souls of men and the one who hates God above all.

It's Time To Think Seriously About Eternity!
We who call ourselves Christians stand guilty of being too worldly
minded! We are so absorbed in day-to-day existence on this planet
that we forget that eternity looms ahead for everyone of us, and that
eternity could begin any moment! While we are increaasingly blind
to the importance of that truth, millions pass on into eternity without
the hope we claim to possess in Christ! When we all stand before the
judgment seat what will be said of us concerning our love for God and
our love for others? Can we honestly say we love God with all our
heart and our neighbor as ourselves and never rescue one person
from the awful fate that awaits those who die without Christ as their
Saviour? I pray God will wake us from our stupor before it is too late!
